Ursa has moved
Press Release May 2021

After an intense construction phase in 2020, we've been able to finally move-in in May 2021. It was a great process and has resulted in a wonderful home and base for Ursa International. If you couldn't tell, we are thrilled to be here. We are within a short flight to the US and continue to be involved with both site specific projects and virtual planning workshops.

Besides the warm tropical hardwood woodwork and Brazilian porcelain tile, Mexican sinks, we have 20 solar panels for electricity and water heating, a large cistern for rainwater harvesting and the house takes advantage of the prevailing winds and breezes. Large verandas cover three sides of the 2100 sf concrete home making this the anti-Tiny House! We are perched 300' above the Macal River a mile outside of San Ignacio town. Stop in next time you are in the area.
